I have found a lot of inspirational sayings and quotes already. I have been reading about Norman Vincent Peale and the pages of Sarina Russo, the businesswoman from Brisbane who was also my teacher during the 80s. She is very positive and inspiring.

Never take it personally. Never think, why me? Never accept someone else's negative opinion of you, because it will drain you of your strength. It will fill your mind with self-doubt.
Have the positive attitude that whatever they say about you, it's only their opinion. If it's a question about your capacity or your ability, take the attitude that it is you versus your mind.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. It's not what happens to you, it's what you do about it that counts. If you think you can, you're right. If you think you can't, you're also right.
